Alpine skiing is ranged in the complex sport branches. The result depends on many factors, in either competitive or recreational sphere. Any kind of simulation of the ski moving structures is a very complex process, and it may be properly supervised only on the basis of the integrated and systematic dealing with problems.

The construction and function of the PRO SKI SIMULATOR provide several possibilities and ways of movements that are resulting from the alpine ski technique. Suitable adjustment of the constructional elements enables also the imitation of movement for the snowboarders. Correlation during the exercise on the PRO SKI SIMULATOR and the actual movement on the snow can in all seasons be a basis for technical and psychophysical preparations of all categories of skiers or snowboarders. Continued usage of the PRO SKI SIMULATOR can be a good way of acquiring the basic information about movement and for conquering some motions on a ski or snowboard. If we exclude some physical or biomechanical elements, that are present at snow gliding (friction, air resistance, forces in the turn) initiates movement performance on the –PRO SKI SIMULATOR- with the person doing the exercises, similar feelings as the movement on snow itself. So we are talking about a positive moving transfer.

An important factor to remember is that the correct usage of this requisite is only one of the segments for effective preparedness for the winter. With this device we can prepare for the skiing season safely and successfully. Besides the dimensions of the informational component of movement (balance, coordination.) the burdens, to which it comes during skiing and snowboarding, demand of the subject a high level of developing dimensions, the so called energetic components of movement (energy, speed, abstinence). And here is where the PRO SKI SIMULATOR can be mostly effective.

The adjustable rubber bands enable suitability of the PRO SKI SIMULATOR for different morphological types of users as well as skiers with more or less knowledge. The skilading depends on the skiers weight, his (her) knowledge and the speeds that the skier is able to reach in a curve. The positive side of the machine is that it can be used by professional skiers as well as by beginners with a lower or higher body weight. The basic ski knowledge represents a plus by using the training machine, but it not a preliminary condition. From the view of the skiing technique the SKI SIMULATOR can be a very useful gadget in the purpose of correcting the basic skiing pose and from the psycho-physical view it can add a great lot to bettering the primary and special motor skills, e.g. balance, persistence and coordination.

The low skiing pose as well as the least possible vertical movement and conquering muscle ladening based on the eccentric muscular contractions demand various strength types. The progressing in endurance of the organism depends on the number of repetitions and the duration of ladening of muscles in regular practice, and it is especially important that the exercises can be of an aerobic type – these features are present in actual skiing. By using the SIMULATOR correctly, a progress in some elements of the skiing technique can be noticed (knee incline, hand and body position).

The PRO SKI SIMULATOR also enables the setting of feet – mobile or immobile. That is undisputedly an important skiing element, which demands accessory curb and good balance. This is why the SIMULATOR can be useful for snow-boarders, too. PRO SKI SIMULATOR is useful for adults as well as for children because it enables them to comprehend the affinity between the moving techniques, which will be interposed to them by their skiing teachers. In preventive sense the SIMULATOR will lower the possibility of injuries but it can also be used as a rehabilitation remedy (hip and knee injuries). Regardless of the fact that the SIMULATOR has been proven as a device that could thoroughly prepare an individual for every skiing activity, we must keep in mind that it’s nothing but a simulator that can’t actually replace all usual preliminary preparations for the skiing season (e.g. running, cycling). SKI SIMULATOR can be an outstanding supplement to the variegated exercises that skiers must deal with to keep in shape for the skiing season.
